Bronte Pistachio: The "Green Gold"

The 'Green Gold' of Sicily, hand-harvested from the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna for an incomparable depth of flavor.

Mount Etna where Bronte Pistacchios are grown

Our gelato is crafted in small batches, where nuts are grounded into a velvety paste to preserve pure flavor profiles. This traditional method honors the Italian heritage that has earned this nut legal Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O)  status.

The Emerald Jewel of Sicily’s Volcanic Soil

The Story

Nourished by the the volcanic earth of Mount Etna, Bronte pistachios are world-renowned for their emerald-green hue and intense sweetness. Harvested by hand only once every two years, these gems represent a concentre of the soil's rich minerals.

At Meno è Meglio Gelato we import these pistachios whenever possible to give our customers an authentic taste of pure pistachio flavor and tradition.

Note: Our Bronte Pistachio flavor is subject to seasonal availability. We may use a blend of  pistachios harvested from various farms throughout the world, including U.S, when appropriate.
